There is a global buzz about education technology, but what is the actual driver – the tech or the innovation. Education providers are adopting technology all the time, but maybe it’s a means to an end.
As part of EduGrowth’s Innovation Alley at EduTECH 2019 in Sydney this June, we are hosting an in-conversation session about a strong EdTech ecosystem. The discussion will assess the current market to determine its driver; education innovation or education technology.
The conversation will be led by David Linke, Managing Director EduGrowth, who will be joined by Amanda Pickrell, Director International Education, Department of Jobs, Precincts & Regions Victorian Government and Glen Campbell, CEO Deakin Co.
This session is the first of 18 different sessions that will be delivered on the Innovation Stage over the two day event and sets the scene for an exciting program.
With the support of Global Victoria, EduGrowth has established an Innovation Precinct at the upcoming EduTECH Expo in Sydney, offering Innovation Alley, a dedicated space for startups combined with thought leadership on the Innovation Stage.
EduTech 2019 is the largest education technology expo in the southern hemisphere, attended by more than 10,000 people, 250 exhibitors, and an impressive array of speakers, including internationally renowned Sir Ken Robinson.
