The power of connection

Through the partnership of technology and learning we can connect at scale. The question is: how do we connect with meaning? And how can we learn in collaboration with others?

In this session we explore, with Cahoot Learning partners Terri Givens and Andrea Clarke, the importance of building trust and connection through relationships via learning.

Why is connection so important for learning? How can trust be built for and between learners? What kind of change is possible?

Equipping the future workforce: teaching skills online at scale

Learning online was previously considered the domain of digital skills, such as IT and software engineering. Increasingly, we see a need to learn practical skills remotely, driven by reskilling to meet the needs of the modern economy.

In partnering with education institutions and companies, EdTech offers new levels of interaction when learning skills online. This technology — coupled with pedagogy dedicated to teaching in digital environments — can offer new opportunities to deliver skills and training.

The Business Matching Program

A few weeks after the expo, we will be running a business matching program for  Victorian EdTech companies who participated in the expo. Here we will connect you  with ecosystem leaders, educators and internationally based government representatives. They will give an overview of their respective markets and can give feedback on products.

In order of priority, you will be asked to identify the countries or regions you are specifically interested in for your next stage of expansion.

Appointments with Ecosystem leaders

Here you will meet with EdTech leaders who will be able to give you insights into the local education sector and EdTech landscape of their region. They will be your key contact for entry to the region and can offer ongoing support for expansion.

Appointments with educators

These educators will serve as a sounding board for all questions regarding the education system of their region. They can provide you with information regarding EdTech adoption and implementation challenges of the region and can also provide feedback on your product.

Appointments Global Victoria Education Service Managers (ESMs)

Global Victoria ESM’s are Victorian Government staff located around the world. They represent and promote Victorian education programs and solutions within their region and are well networked. You will have an opportunity to meet with these experts to obtain their feedback on your solution and the target customers.
