PitchEd NSW will spotlight the best EdTech business ideas in the heart of Australia’s startup capital – Sydney StartUp Hub.
Up to 8 startup teams with innovative solutions improving the education world will be chosen to pitch their business plans in front of an influential audience of investors, industry experts, government representatives, education leaders and EdTech entrepreneurs. Each startup team will have their own mini-expo space to interact with the audience post-pitch to field inquiries and develop business leads.
The objective of this Pitch Event is to connect early stage education companies with potential customers.
Selected teams will pitch to an audience of 120+ interested professionals drawn from NSW and Commonwealth Government entities engaged in education and training in NSW.
Companies pitching should have:
- Traction: companies must demonstrate they have worked with schools in the past and have the capacity to respond to customer needs and support their product.
- Clarity: there must be clear problem definition and the solution is connected directly to the problem.
- Efficacy: products must offer clear benefits and improve outcomes for students and educators.
- Companies must be registered in NSW.
NSW EdTech startup founders and teams with great education technology ideas and solutions are encouraged to apply today. Applications have been extended to 28 April 2019.
