In celebration of International Women’s Day some amazing EduGrowth members are leading the way in EdTech and inspiring future generations to follow in their footsteps.

In the last three years, our data shows that the number of women leaders has increased to now equal 28% of the total leader size, with the following sector breakdowns:

The Australian education sector workforce is dominated by women in all verticals with one glaring exception: the EdTech ecosystem.

An initiative EduGrowth has undertaken to support a better representation of women EdTechs is the formation of the Women’s Education Leaders Syndicate. The Syndicate, in partnership with Investment NSW, was created to foster a space where women in Sydney’s EdTech ecosystem can professionally connect and support one another.

Syndicate members meet quarterly over a calendar year to foster executive connections and mentoring where they’ll be joined by guest presenters such as Rita Ferrandino, Kerri-Lee Krause, Sandra Heldsinger and Rachel Bentvelzen.
