Strategic, Practical and Engaged

The Board of Directors acknowledges the incredible energy, vision and strategic input from Tony Brennan as he concludes his tenure on the EduGrowth board.

Accepting a role on any not-for-profit Board is a big undertaking, but taking a lead role in forming the organisation, working to engage stakeholders and reinforcing the vision at every interaction takes a very special person.  EduGrowth has been very lucky to have just such a person in Tony Brennan.

Tony has been a key plank of our organisation right from the start.  He was part of the working group that articulated the vision for an EdTech Hub and then became a catalyst in EduGrowth’s formation and a key voice in our governance model.  Throughout 2018-2019, Tony also accepted the role of Chair, initially for a few months, but at the Board’s request took on the role permanently.

Throughout Tony’s time on the Board he has been an incredible colleague around the Board table bringing a stable, structured and pragmatic approach to all conversations.  Our Managing Director shares “Tony has been an incredible advocate for the role that EdTech companies will play in the future of Australia’s education sector here and around the world.  Working with Tony has been one of my real professional highlights.”

Every change heralds opportunity.

We welcome Claire Field to the EduGrowth Board.

Claire brings to EduGrowth incredible experience in the vocational education sector, strategic advice to leading institutions and is one of Australia’s key voices on the translation of policy to action across the education sector.

As EduGrowth expands across education subsectors and builds new sector engagement models, bringing key voices from the vocational sector to the Board is vital to our mission.
