Dragan Gašević is a Distinguished Professor at Monash University, where he leads the Centre for Learning Analytics and the Translational AI group in the Faculty of Information Technology. A global expert in AI in education, his research focuses on the use of data and artificial intelligence to better understand self-regulated and collaborative learning. Dragan is a co-founder of the Society for Learning Analytics Research, where he served as President from 2015 to 2017, and was awarded Lifetime Membership in 2022 for his contributions to the field.
