Welcome to the virtual EduGrowth Insights Seminars. This is a chance to gain the tools to accelerate an early-stage startup or to make a seed of an idea, a reality.
In the first half of this year, we’re facilitating four seminars that will cover a range of essential topics. The first session has already passed, but register to this Eventbrite to be signed up for the remaining three seminars.
You’ll hear from established thought leaders in the sector — they’ve been where you are, and have the know-how of what it takes to go further. These seminars will include a Q&A with the speaker and an opportunity for virtual networking with your peers.

Session #2: Co-creating with Your Customer: Pedagogy and Piloting – Thursday 7 May, 2021
How do you successfully initiate and leverage a pilot program? How does pedagogy inform the development of your product?
Lauren Sayer, Executive Director, Digital Learning, Research and Innovation at Melbourne Girls Grammar, and Herk Kailis, CEO and Founder of Cadmus, join us for this seminar. They’ll help participants navigate important questions around designing a robust pedagogical approach and utilising a pilot.
Session #3: Communicating with customers: EdTech marketing strategy – Thursday 20 May, 2021
It is important to understand who your target audience is, and how to speak to them so they listen. This session will help you better understand your customers and how to develop an effective marketing strategy to communicate with them.
Craig Simon, the founder of ZOMO Consulting, as well as Margo Griffith, Head of Business Development for Edalex, will help participants navigate this topic. Harnessing their experiences, they’ll provide deep insights on this important step of an EdTech business.
Session #4: Building a Sales Strategy: Startup Sales and Revenue Generation – Thursday 3 June, 2021
What does a successful sales strategy look like in the education sector? What are the sales funnels? Who are making the buying decisions in the sector?
Oliver Kransy, CEO of the InStudent Group and another speaker will help participants navigate these questions. Harnessing their experiences, they’ll provide real-world insights on the tools businesses need to address their sales approach.
Session #1: Shaping Your Business – Product Design and Business Models – Thursday 22 April, 2021
How do you design an impactful product? What does an effective business model look like?
Nikki Bonus, CEO and Founder of Life Skills Group, and Tim Praill, COO of Faethm AI, will help participants navigate these questions. Harnessing their experiences, they’ll provide real-world insight on this important first stage of an EdTech business.
