Shaping the Future of Literacy: EduGrowth Welcomes StepsWeb as Strategic Partner

EduGrowth is delighted to welcome StepsWeb as a strategic partner

StepsWeb is one of New Zealand’s leading EdTech providers. For over 24 years, StepsWeb has helped learners across the globe build core literacy skills through a structured, research-based approach that supports both intervention and extension.

This partnership reflects EduGrowth’s mission to connect, collaborate, and accelerate innovation within the Australian EdTech ecosystem. Our Strategic Partners play a key role in helping us deliver impactful programs and grow the sector.

“Partners are essential to our work. They enable us to design and deliver initiatives that respond directly to the needs of educators, and ensure we maximise impact across the Australian EdTech ecosystem.”
David Linke, Managing Director of EduGrowth

For StepsWeb, the partnership offers a valuable opportunity to build connections with Australian schools and researchers, while generating evidence to inform wider adoption and impact.

“Working with EduGrowth allows us to connect with schools and researchers in ways that wouldn’t otherwise be possible. Their support ensures we can rigorously demonstrate StepsWeb’s impact and reach the learners who need it most”
Ros Lugg, Founder of StepsWeb

The new pilot project will assess how StepsWeb’s literacy platform supports diverse learners in real classroom settings. The study will be guided by Professor Michael Henderson and the team at The Hub for Educational Design and Innovation (HEDI) at Monash University, ensuring research integrity and strong academic foundations.

“Our role in supporting EdTech companies reflects HEDI’s mission to bridge research and practice by supporting impactful, evidence-informed learning for every student.”
Michael Henderson, HEDI Researcher at Monash University
