NSW EdTech Week brought together innovators, educators, policymakers and investors in a dynamic celebration of ideas, connection and transformation. Across four flagship events AmplifyED, the CLEAR Alliance Dinner, Innovation Alley, and the WEL/CEO Syndicate, the week ignited bold conversations about the future of education technology in Australia.
AmplifyED Kicked off the week with an evening of purpose-driven dialogue between EdTech companies and investors. The spotlight was on sustainable innovation, how do we fund the future of learning while staying true to educational outcomes?
The following night, the CLEAR Alliance Dinner offered an exclusive opportunity for EdTech leaders to unite around a shared mission: equitable access to safe, high-quality learning for every child. In collaboration with the Alannah and Madeline Foundation, EduGrowth launched the CLEAR Alliance working group, bringing together forward-thinking organisations ready to lead real change.
At Innovation Alley, thought leaders, educators and technology providers gathered for two full days of practical exploration and bold insight. From AI-powered assessment to digital equity and student wellbeing, every session echoed the belief that technology must serve pedagogy, not the other way around.
The week culminated in the WEL/CEO Syndicate, where school and sector leaders came together to tackle the system-wide changes needed to embed innovation meaningfully and equitably. Real stories, real challenges and real momentum for change.
3 Key Themes That Shaped the Week:
AI with Purpose: More than hype, AI must align with ethics, pedagogy and measurable outcomes.
Student Agency & Skills: Innovation must empower learners with creativity, resilience and real-world capabilities.
From Buzz to Behavior: It’s time to move beyond flashy demos and focus on what truly works in schools.
