In the Innovation Workshop, as part of the Global Victoria EdTech Innovation Alliance (GVEIA), participants heard about the essentials of efficacy, evidence and interpretation when developing and before launching an EdTech solution. This workshop was led by two researchers, Professor Margaret Bearman, Deakin University, and Professor Michael Henderson, Monash University.

This workshop set the scene for the upcoming Innovation Sprints in the GVEIA. The Innovation Sprints are 26-week pilot projects where EdTech products are deployed with Victorian and international education institutions overseen by a steering committee.

The program will see the solutions tested for their efficacy, and document the technologies’ ability to solve and enhance learner outcomes.
