Empowering peer learning communities – Vygo

ClearPath Showcase

Vygo

In June 2019, Monash University hosted the EduGrowth ClearPath Showcase, a higher-ed focussed event that connected six EdTech startups with potential higher-ed clients. The event included EdTech presentations, Q&A, networking and pre-booked in-depth conversations to discuss business need and EdTech solution.

Vygo was one of six EdTech startups chosen to present, along with Open Learning, AccountingPod, OB3, Literatu and Successful Graduate. Each of these startups have proven their ability to manage a client relationship with at least one university customer, have the ability to support deployment across a large cohort, have a clear pricing structure and have evidence they have a plan to manage that initial product deployment with the customer.

About

Vygo

Vygo helps universities connect their students in scalable and asynchronous peer learning communities. With Vygo’s mobile & web application students can:

  1. Connect and engage in effective peer mentoring relationships
  2. Access peer tutors that have excelled in the specific class they need help with
  3. Enhance their academic and personal networks
  4. Receive personalised support that suits their learning style.

Students can meet online or on-campus at a time that works for them. Our goal is to help universities improve student experience and retention rates by empowering students with the help they need when they need it.
