The Innovation Precinct – supporting startups & thought leadership at EduTECH

As all startups will know, it’s not easy getting in front of potential clients, many face closed doors and prohibitive costs for promoting their brands at key events.

With the support of Global Victoria, EduGrowth has established an Innovation Precinct that includes a dedicated space for startups at the upcoming EduTECH International Congress & Expo in Sydney.

“We want to provide a place where our member startups are front and centre, it’s just another way we are supporting growth in the EdTech sector,” EduGrowth Managing Director, David Linke.

EduTECH 2019 is the largest education technology expo in the southern hemisphere, attended by more than 10,000 people, 250 exhibitors, and an impressive array of speakers, including internationally renowned Sir Ken Robinson.

EduGrowth’s Innovation Alley will feature some of the most exciting, fast growing EdTech startups from across Australia, a shared demo space, and its own 80-seat Innovation Stage with a drawcard program of keynotes, panels and discussions, including:

In these programs, we’ve assembled some of Australia’s best thought leaders in education, technology and related industries. Over 30 professionals will take to the Innovation stage over the two day event to discuss the issues, opportunities and trends currently facing our industry.

Each session has been meticulously curated and will contribute to the Innovation Stage covering a vast breadth of topics that will appeal to all segments of our ecosystem. This is going to be a highly sought-after program and we invite you to be part of the audience.

The Innovation Stage will also host a pitch competition, providing the opportunity for startups to pitch to a captivated audience and win prizes including cash to help them on their journey.

Combining the Innovation Alley with the appeal of the Innovation Stage and a shared demo space means this will be the must-visit part of the expo, and a great opportunity for startups to get noticed and have deep conversations with potential customers.

“We understand the importance of this kind of exposure for education technology startups. And thanks to the support of our sponsors, Global Victoria, DeakinCo., Navitas Ventures, Brightpath and AWS EdStart, have been able to create a precinct and program that showcases the exceptional talent in our community” EduGrowth Managing Director, David Linke.

EduTech 2019 is being held 6 to 7 June at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.
