The US EdTech Mission is a must for businesses considering international expansion.
Participants will gain a strong understanding of the US Education Technology market and gain the opportunity to learn from, and build relationships with:
- Established education businesses;
- Key members of the US EdTech community;
- Education buyers (including federal, state and local education departments); and
- EdTech investors.
The mission is being jointly led by Austrade, Edugrowth and Navitas Ventures and builds on the success of a similar initiative held in 2018. The mission commences on 1 April 2019 in New York City, before moving on to Washington, San Francisco and the world leading ASU+GSV conference in San Diego (8-10 April).
The cost of participating in the mission is estimated to be $3,500 per organisation (excluding travel, accommodation and ASU+GSV tickets).
Navitas Ventures, an EduGrowth foundation partner, is looking to increase participation in the mission by offering subsidised places to three worthy organisations. Navitas Ventures have asked EduGrowth to find the companies that would gain the most from attending the mission. Sponsorship will range from a $1,500 discount to a full $3,500 subsidy.
Please note that Navitas sponsorship can only be used to cover the $3,500 participant fee. Companies that have already registered are welcome to apply. Participants will be required to make their own travel arrangements and register to attend the ASU+GSV conference.
